Old-fashioned bean paste making
Have you ever seen the ingredient list of commercially available bean paste? I think that many of them contain a thickener to make the bean paste in a short time and a preservative to keep it for a long time.

Horaku Manju does not add them at all. It takes time and effort to cook the beans until they become bean paste, and then add sugar and knead them. Since it is handmade in the old-fashioned way, the depth and taste of the taste are different.
